Signing up is FREE and EASY! Simply click on the Sign Up button at the top of each page and it will take you through the 3 step process.

You can view your profile at anytime by clicking the "view my profile" button located on the Left hand side of your screen under Project Actions, also you may enter your personalized website address in the address bar. Your personalized website is username.GetCourtReporters.com you may give this address to friends and clients.

Your personalized website address is your username.getcourtreporters.com you may enter this in your address bar at anytime to direct your friends and clients to your site.

How do I search for jobs?
You may search for jobs by clicking the Browse Projects button at the top of every page.

How do I bid on jobs?
To bid on a job, click on the Place Your Bid Button under the job posting. Once the is clicked, you will be redirected to a form where you will enter your bid amount (this is an estimate), the amount of time it will take to complete and any message that you would like to make to the buyer.

Is it really free to bid on jobs?
To bid on a job is FREE. As our grand opening promotion there are no fee's to bid, even if you win the project! It's tough out there and we know it! We want this site to help you make new networks and $$$. Once the promotion expires, If you are selected as the winner of the project a small fee will be applied (there will be a period where we will post the fee's and make it abundantly clear). The fee schedule will be posted after the grand opening promotion expires. For now please have fun exploring the Get Court Reporters .com site and go make some $$$

How do I keep track of my bids?
To track your bids click on the "My Bidding Activity" Link on the left hand side of your account home under the Project Actions, this will display all open, pending and closed bids.

How do I communicate with the job buyer?
To communicate with the job buyer, click on the Post PMB (P.rivate M.essage B.oard) button from the job posting and this will allow you to communicate in a private board.

How do I accept a job?
To accept a job log in to the "My Bidding Activity" on the left hand side of your account home under the Project Actions, this will display the project you have won, in the status column, click the "accept" button to accept the project. If there is a file to work on, you will be directed to download the file and begin work. The job poster has been notified of your acceptance and the job is now frozen until completed.

How do I download a work file?
Once you have accepted a project you will be redirected to a page with a link to the work file. Please right click this link and click "Save As" or "Save Link As" to save this file and begin working.

How do I upload the finished work file?
Once you have completed your project, and saved it as a .txt file, click the "My Bidding Activity" on the left hand side of your account home under the Project Actions, this will display the project you have won, in the "options" column, click the "Upload Work File" button to upload your finished work for review, submit your final cost for the project and any comments. The buyer will get a review file with a partial showing of your work to approve before paying you the final cost.

How do I get paid?
Before the project buyer can download the finished work, the freelancer is paid and an email is sent to the email address on file at getcourtreporters.com

How do I review and leave feedback for a buyer?
Once the buyer pays, you will see the review button. Clicking the review button will direct you to a page to select a rating (out of 10 Stars) for your buyer and an area to add comments about your experience at getcourtreporters.com

How much does Get Court Reporters.com cost?

We may begin to charge in the fall 2009 and only charge a small flat fee. There are 2 types of jobs to post on getcourtreporters.com, 1) Jobs that require an in person meeting and 2) 100% online work. 

How do I post a new job?

How do I communicate with bidders
To communicate with bidders please use the Private Message Board button displayed on each job.

How do I complete a job?
To complete an in person job simply select your winning bidder and leave them feedback after the work is complete using the review user button. To complete an online job, the freelancer will upload the finished work (you will get an email notification when this happens), you will have the opportunity to inspect a review file (a partial display of the work), then click the approve button which will direct you to pay for your work and return to the getcourtreporters.com to download the full finished work.

How do I download my finished work?
To download a finished project, click on the "My Project Activity" button under the Project actions and locate the job with the completed work, under this job you will see "Download Completed File" Please right click the file link and click Save Link as or Save Target as to save the file on your local computer. This will complete the downloading of the final work.

How do I pay for a job?
Payment to freelancers for 100% online jobs will be through a redirection to Paypal which is required before the finished work will be released. To pay for in person jobs

How do I review and leave feedback for my service provider?
To review and leave feedback, click on the leave feedback button and you will be directed to the review form.
